The Problem

Face recognition systems often face challenges in latency, scalability, and privacy when deployed on edge devices in real-world settings.

Solution

The Solution

Engineered a full IoT-based face recognition pipeline using lightweight CNN models for on-device detection and embedding extraction. Embeddings were securely transmitted to an AWS Lambda function for identification against a cloud-hosted database, with containerization and serverless deployment enabling low latency and cost optimization.
